August 29, 2007 -- At this week's OSP Expo 2007, ADC announced that it is expanding its Professional Architects, Consultants and Engineers (PACE) program to include information and support for its OmniReach FTTX Infrastructure Solutions, a platform designed to meet the unique requirements of fiber-to-the-x networks.
Building network infrastructures upon the platform, service providers can accelerate deployment and maximize operational efficiency from the central office to the outside plant, contends the company.
The PACE program, offered free and at no obligation, is designed to inform, support and nurture relationships with consultants and designers who serve current and potential ADC enterprise and service provider customers. By providing information on the OmniReach platform, the program will enable these individuals to more easily work with and recommend ADC products, says the company.
"By focusing on ADC's broader portfolio, the PACE program will be able to better meet the needs of industry professionals," comments David Yanish, program manager at ADC. "Expanding the scope of the program will help accomplish our goal of keeping these professionals, and their key constituents, abreast of cutting-edge ADC technology in the markets they serve."
According to ADC, major elements of the PACE program include: ongoing subject-matter expertise; simple and concise content delivery, portal navigation and dedicated partner support; and easily accessible and simple design and proposal tools.
"We believe it's valuable to strengthen our relationships with these key industry professionals because their expertise and opinions about trends and technology have significant influence on decision makers in markets critical to our success," continues Yanish. "The PACE program is mutually beneficial for all parties because of the information and support that ADC offers and the relationships we strengthen."
